Trocadero gardens
Today Trocadero gardens are a must for all tourists who wish to admire the Eiffel Tower at the best angle promenade. It is also remarkable for its famous fountain of Warsaw (1937). A series of cascading pools overlooking a large pool with 20 water cannons reject 8240m3 of water per hour and fifty six sheaves form which came to rest in eight water stairs!

Large waters of the central basin are highlighted by a play of light that animates the evening the head of bull statues and golden horses. Trocadero Gardens are dotted with a multitude of sculptures, some of which date from the 1930s, like "Man" Alley and the "Woman" of Bacque, overlooking the ponds. A show not to be missed!

The Eiffel Tower
Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel for the Universal Exhibition of 1889, which celebrated the first centenary of the French Revolution.

Its construction in 2 years , 2 months and 5 days, was a real technical and architectural performance. "Utopia performed" technological prowess, it was in the late 19th century demonstration of French engineering personified by Gustave Eiffel, an industrial del'ère climax. She immediately was a huge success.

Since the 80s, Eiffel Tower has been regularly renovated, restored and equipped to a growing audience.

The National Theatre of Chaillot
National Theatre of Chaillot is one of four national theaters of Paris, located in the Palais de Chaillot, on Place du Trocadéro in the 16th arrondissement.

It was built in 1937 by the brothers Niermans. It was long the symbolic place of popular theater, especially associated with big names such as Jean Vilar and Antoine Vitez, and assigned to the NPT until 1972.

Minister of Culture Frédéric Mitterrand announced September 3, 2010 the appointment of Didier Deschamps dancer and teacher at the head of Chaillot national Theatre from July 2011.

The Museum of Man
Heir to the Ethnographic Museum of the Trocadero, founded in 1878, Museum of Man was created on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1937.

It s' is made from exceptional collections cabinets of curiosities and the Royal Cabinet, gathered from the sixteenth century, to which were added the funds anthropology and prehistory museum, constantly enriched by research activities involving lifelong learning ethnographic objects.

Museum of Man, internationally renowned, is currently undergoing renovations which will continue until 2015, but scientists and cultural activities continue.

The City of Architecture and Heritage
City of Architecture and Heritage installed in the wing "Paris" Palais de Chaillot, Trocadero Square, is, with its 22 000 m2, the largest center for architecture in the world.

Its mission is to ensure the promotion of French architecture in France and abroad, and to discover the iconic works of the French architectural heritage and international contemporary art.

You will discover the Museum of French Monuments offering through its three galleries an overview of the architecture and heritage of the Middle Ages to today.

The National Maritime Museum
National Maritime Museum comes from a collection given to King Louis XV by Henri Louis Duhamel du Monceau.

The museum's permanent collection is displayed in the wing Passy Palais de Chaillot in Paris, but schedules are at Brest, Port-Louis, Rochefort and Toulon. The museum deals today of all marine through its collections and temporary exhibitions.

National Maritime Museum participates in the national strategy for the sea and oceans by integrating into the first priority of this strategy, called "investing in the Future" which implies to "educate and train for careers in the sea" and "arouse the French passion for the sea."
